FABCOS FUNERAL AND LIFE COVER SCHEMES
The FABCOS Funeral Scheme is administered by Capital Alliance, a subsidiary of Liberty Life. Core Members qualify automatically upon becoming fully paid up members. Non-renewal of Membership in any given year immediately cancels the policy.
Description of benefits
Death Benefit: R100,000
This benefit is only applicable to Core Members and it is payable upon the death of the member.
Accidental Death Benefit: R15,000
An additional death benefit is payable upon the death of the main member (applicable to main member only).
Funeral Benefit
This benefit is paid to cover the funeral costs and it is applicable to the main member and his/her immediate family. The breakdown of the amounts per member of the family is as follows:

Repatriation of mortal remains benefit:
- Repatriation of mortal remains within South Africa, Namibia, Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
- Funeral Assistance Service.
- 24 hr client and claims assistance service.
