Pillar 4: FABCOS Stone Quarry Plants
FABCOS has established a stone quarry plant in Thohoyandou, Limpopo in a place called Mulenzhe. The plant is a joint venture business between FABCOS and the Mulenzhe community. The plant has the capacity to deliver 35 to 50 tons of crushed stone material of various sizes per day. A similar approach is being pursued in Msinga, KZN and the North West province.
In the North West Province, FABCOS has acquired a marble producing factory and mining rights for the next thirty years. Marble tiles, kitchen tops and other accessories are supplied to ABA members and the general public and corporate clients from the factory.
