STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
The objectives for which FABCOS is established are to:
- Advance the ideals of black economic empowerment.
- Bridge the gap between the first and second economies.
- Work towards the liberation of the economy from its historical constraints.
- Protect and promote the interests of disadvantaged business people and consumers to enable them to benefit from the economy.
- Improve the standards of business practices by rendering facilities, services and infrastructure to members and sectors.
- Share resources and facilities in the best interests of its members.
- Establish regional offices and resource centers according to provincial boundaries where there is a need, and to make these available to members.
- Provide and facilitate training and development programs for members and sectors.
- Create interfaces and linkages between small and big business.
- Encourage business ventures that create opportunities for and economically empower members.
- Assist members with access to capital.
- Create discussion forums with other business organizations on subjects of mutual concern.
- Represent the interests of the Foundation nationally and internationally.
- Promote and advocate for bills, laws and ordinances in the interests of FABCOS ideals, its members, consumers and the broader small business community.
- Create wealth for the organization for the benefit of its members.
